Different story here Prerunner. 69c10 is trying to assess value to some parts. We need more info on the rears before anyone could possibly appraise them. I have been fortunate enough to aquire a 12 bolt open diff. rear on Ebay for $100+ship. I believe that was cheap. If your just talking about some stock rears with no posi or lockers then maybe ask $300 for the pair. I paid $90 to ship my rear so a deal with someone local would be preferable. Post in "parts for sale" forums of all three generation trucks too

Guys get their panties in a wad if you post something on the parts board not having a price to go with it, and I didnt have any idea of where to start with a price, so no, i didnt post it in the wrong part... That is why the title was how it was for this, anyways.. I got them today, They are both 10 bolt rearends, open carriers.. I was told the rear was a 12 bolt, but oh well.. Thanks goes to AirMale for actually being helpful in my post. Last edited by 69c10stepside; 02-01-2004 at 01:33 PM. |

3.08 open diffs are fairly common and easy to find...you see them in junkyards and in the classifieds up here all the time. For a 4wd vehicle, they aren't very desireable, especially if the truck has been lifted. Good on gas though.
I would guess that $100 each would be a fair price and should sell them fairly quickly.

Yeah I knew that 3.08s were the bottom rung on the totem pole when it came to gear ratios.. I cant keep anything slower then 3.42's on 88-98 front and rears for 4x4's.. but I didnt know the demand for these or a fair price to ask for them
