You can, but some vendors require a little bit of fab work to make it fit. I thought about it years ago, but decided not to go that route. There's a lot of debate out there as to whether it'll increase rear wheel skip or not. But, then, lots of '90s and current Suburbans had 'em from the factory.

Good luck!

60 rear in a 89? did you swap that in? Should have a 14 if it's a 3/4 or has one of the HD towing packages. If it had the 454 it got the Big full floater 14.

Take some pictures of that bar install .I'm intersted in doing the same on my 88.

Try Performance Suspension Technology at www.p-s-t.com They have a listing for a 1" diameter rear sway bar kit for all 73-91 Suburbans for $119 or for $159 with poly bushings.

TRY THIS INSTEAD

HELLO KIND SIR

TRY THIS ON-----AND IF YOU LIKE BEING DIFFERANT---THIS IS IT---AND NO FAB WORK AT ALL IN THE LEAST

Procomp---makes a set of traction ladders for that year--instead of sway bars--

these are truley an unbelivable additions to youR rig......they stop everything and allow your rig to go down the road stright as a arrow.....come with all bolt on hard wear...

then they have a futher kit-- that can bolt on 4 shocks to both sides of the ladder bars----and it creates a race car effect when driving---and stops all sideway body roll as well.....

if you want something to do to your rig a long the lines you mention----then this is an amazing way to go and looks cooler then anything out there.....

i run them both front and rear with 8 shocks and i can out manuver a vette on a race corce---true story---they are that good......not to spendy either,,,,,about 280.00 for the rear pair....go to procomps web and look at ther page on them.....

hope this plants an idea to be differant...

best of luck
