I think that I have seen these before, and I think they are not the same as out style, but they do look similar. What do you all think?

I have a couple of pairs of those. One pair is even chrome plated. I like them and am going to use them as rear tow hooks. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

i believe those are from school bus or other types of medium and heavy duty truck chassis. the chrome ones are most likely from a firetruck.

Just so ya know, those tow hooks have the wrong bend and are a little bit the wrong shape around the mounting holes, But.... Tow hooks are usually forgings, which means with a little heat, a hammer, and a grinder those tow hooks could very nearly resemble the correct tow hooks.

What's the deal with tow hooks, are they rare? It's one of the few options that I have on my Blazer.

No they aren't rare at all. They actually weigh too much and put your center weight off on the trucks, so just send them to me and I will recycle them for you.

Tow hook's are rare if you are looking for them.. BTW most people are looking for them..

I wouldn't want to try and bend that bus tow hook 90 degrees so the holes would mount on the side of the frame instead of on the bottom like a bus tow hook is designed.

It might work or look similar mounted on the bottom of the frame.
