Looking at a stock push button AM radio from a '72 GMC. Two questions: Will it fit a '69? Is the unit complete in one piece or is there some typr of bezel or faceplate required to fit it in the dash?

The radio will fit. Just make sure you get knobs and the metal cups behind the knobs which clamp the radio up to the dash (hold it in place); there are no other parts required.
