ok heres the deal

ok the other day when over in the yard, i asked about the 65 i want to get....first i aint gonna be able to get it....i cant unload my 60, so i dont need another project.......he told me he bought the truck because somebody wanted the motor, an he hasnt decided on what to do with the rest of it yet.......but if anybody is looking for a really rust free spotless truck this would be the one....an i wouldnt mind seein it go to somebody who is gonna do it right an not just wear it out, the next time it goes to the junkyard it might not be this one, an could end up crushed...

next thing is if one of ya'll is lookin for somthing hard to find or just a part let me know....gives me a reason to go over to my home away from home.

now im not advertisein for this junkyard, but i have been all over the country an lived in alot of different states, this is the first time i have ever lived this close to a junkyard that has all old stuff, an i know that everybody doesnt have access to a place like this....he does have alot of old chevy's an a few old gmc's an i know of another junkyard i havent even been to yet that has old stuff to..an quite a few old chevy's just sittin in fields...

hope this message is not against the rules...im just tryin to be freindly

billy

Let's see if I got this right...you bought a '65 but need almost all the sheet metal? And didn't I read that you are also looking for a frame? .
So in other words, you bought an engine and tranny .
Just funning with you :p

Where exactly in Utah is the yard, reason I ask is I will be leaving on my vacation to Washington and will go through Utah. I am looking for a rear barn door for my panel truck. Did you find out what he wanted for the 65?

i know there are no burbans that are in the 60 to 66 yr models....i live just west of slc in tooele....off of I80....63 shorty we ought to get together an go over to the yard.....just as long as you are an upstanding person who belive they should pay for what they get an not try to sneak things out with out paying.....let me know if you want to meet an go over.....hotrod the 65 truck is 1500.00
an in my opion it is well worth the money.....it is really clean.....last monday they were mesing with it to see if the motor run.....but the rest of the truck is one of the cleanest i have found for the price....an since it looks like my job might not be coming back this yr, im not gonna be able to get it.....
