Can anyone find out which heads these #'s belong to

These are for a Big Block but I need to know if these are the big ovals or peanut ports before I waste my time buying them. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I cant find the numbers anywhere did the guy email me the wrong ones or did i not look hard enough

Hi,these heads are as follows,70-78,oval port,open chamber,when used on a 402,it was an LS-3 at 240 hp,when used on a 454 it was an LS-5 at 270 hp. I find no mention of being "peanut ports"....The "peanut ports" are good torque heads though, like for heavy towing or off-roading, just not good for high rpm drag racing. Hope this helps you out.

I appreciate the info. A gentalman close to where I live has them for sale for 200.00 didnt know if it was a good deal A yes they need to be rebuilt.

Well, that depends, I'm sure you know that headwork can be pricey. What heads do you have now and what is wrong with them?
