Looking for a 75 to 79 K5 Blazer body
Ok, here's the deal. I just got a complete K5 (78 I think) without a motor. I was gonna use the motor from my Scottsdale and scrap the rest. The only really dumb thing I did was not get the title for the K5, which I thought I could get from DMV. Turns out that I got it home and saw the VIN tag had been removed. Now i'm stuck with it and apperently no hope of making it legal.
So I need a K5 body with a title. The one I have is fine too, but I don't know anyway around the VIN tag and title thing. I was going to rivet a different tag on, even found one off the same truck in a junkyard, but it does me no good if I don't know who had the title last. Actually all i really need is the VIN tag and title off a simmilar one. If anyone has suggestions or a K5 body I could use all the help I can get. |

You should be able to go to the highway patrol and have them issue another number I believe. Thats what I was told. They check it out, make sure its legal and give you another number thats up in the door jamb. Anyone know if this is true?
