Grill off 72 fit on 70 ?
Now I'm looking at a 1970 LWB. I prefer the 71-72 front end so whats required to get a 72 front grill on a 70 LWB truck ??
Any major difference's other than grill and drum brakes ? |

It will swap right in.
You do however need to change the hood latch and center grille support.69-70 share the same design,71-72 share a different design. Of course the turn signals in the 71-72 are in the front bumper so you'd have to swap that in as well. It all just bolts in once you have the right year parts.

You do not need to swap the hood latches... I did the same swap on my '70. I torched the center grill support and grinded it smooth. The swap was super simple. I put the signal lights in the 'original' postion, but mounted them to the radiator support, so there were behind the inner grill.
