I think he just got a really good deal on some diamond plate sheetmetal, and didn't want to waste any of it, or maybe he thought because it was "diamond" plate, it would make his truck worth millions!

NOT A BAD LOOKING TRUCK, BUT IT'S ANYTHING, BUT "RESTORED". IT'S AMAZING HOW MANY PEOPLE MISUSE THAT WORD.

i guess i shouldnt be suprised anymore, but everytime someone posts a pic of a truck people have to talk crap about it, nice trucks at that. A board member can post a pic of his rusted up pos and most say nice truck? get real. I agree the diamond plate is not what id do, but its a nice truck regardless.

I agree whole-heartedly Lost Wages ... some of the JUNK that is shown here and people fall over themselves to say "Nice Truck." But let someone display a pic of something that someone has actually invested some TIME and MONEY into and the nay-sayers come crawling out of the wood work like cock roaches.
Funny thing is, most of the nay-sayers NEVER show a pic of THEIR trucks, but they sure as hell have an opinion about somebody elses. |

i would agree that there is ALOT of time and money into that truck. but it is ugly. these era of trucks look sooo much better stock or mild custom, not extravagant. if you want your truck to look like that go out and buy a mini-truck where there is a market for that look.

I have to agree, I love this board, but lets refrain from the negative responces. I have a straight rustfree 72, but its a pos as far as Im concerned until its restored. I choose to compliment an owner instead of a negative responce. I can pick anyone's truck apart, but whats the point?

While it's not exactly what I would do to my truck, I sure can appreciate all the hours of labor and the hard earned dollars spent to get it the way it looks.

While I can appreciate the time and money that went into making it I still think it looks like ass and is rice.

Very nice (notice I didn't say good looking) truck. Not my style but it is far ahead of my rusty old truck.
