Progress...
Here are some current pics of my project. I got the cab on the frame finally on Monday. Less than a year ago it was in the woods about to be hauled to the scrap yard. I rebuilt the entire drivetrain and repaired the rust on the cab and sandblasted the frame in school(12th grade). My dad painted the cab hugger orange and I am about to do the box. Pics....

I hate to say it but that gives me an idea for a swing set....lol..... good looking truck, know lets get that bed on their. :p

Did that method of picking cab torque on the mounted doors at all? Great looking progress using perfect color.

The cab lift I made used to be an old home-made swingset. I have a winch mounted to each side, just crank it up equally. It went really smooth and easy, did not move the doors at all. But the cab is completely stripped(other than the doors). The round thing on the intake is an EGR valve, I believe. Soon to have an edelbrock carb and intake, hooker headers, and an MSD ignition. Does anyone know where I can get a rust free radiator core support for cheap? Mine is in rough shape by the mounts. I think I might weld something up on the bottom temperarley. The project would have been finished by now, but the cash flow is not real great at my age. I hope to have the exterior complete and have it on the road by mid-summer. It probably won't happen, but I will try... I still need a windshield, rims, new brakes, brake lines, bearings, tranny cooler lines, plug wires, intake, carb, headers, ignition, belts, hoses, etc...
