It Drives!!
We got the clutch adjustment done last night as well as the floor shift kit we installed need adjustment. We filled the brakes and bled them just in case the thing wanted to take off. I also found out the reason it was running like crap was I had the hose from the vacuum advance hooked to the wrong side of the carb. I took it off the advance and it didn't change anything so I hooked it up to the advance and switched the hose at the carb to the other side and it is idling like a dream. All we have to do is install the throttle cable and we'll be driving it around instead out pushing FINALLY!!! I was able to let the clutch out while it was idling and roll it back and forth in the shop under it's own power. Felt good to have it moving

right now is a very exciting time. having your truck down is like having your first born fall into a coma. thankfully modern science & cosmetic surgery has brought her back to life.

He drove it today. All the way around the shop. The rear end sure spins with no weight back there tho! he had mud flung all the way onto the hood of the truck after he was done spinning around! Feels like we finally accomplished something big!!

When it first moves it is almost the same feeling you get after the engine rebuild and you fire it up for the first time. good luck.

It was great to see that thing sitting outside of the shop and I didn't have to push it there! Now we gotta get that thing some lights and a flat bed and it's off to the exhaust shop!

Yeah it was a great feeling to be able to drive the MUTT after 2 years of being pushed. That 350 has a bit more power than that little inline 6 did I let the clutch out and hit the gas a bit and mud went shooting up into the air and landed on my roof and hood With having open manifolds, no weather stripping and no window fuzzies in it, it was pretty damn loud, but VERY cool none the less!! I removed the rad and it's off to the rad shop this morning to be welded. It has a couple small leaks. Then the assembly of everything else will begin Hoping to cruise in it around June 25th
