84 front a Dana?
I have a service manual for 84 trucks. It says that in 84 the K-10 used a corporate front axle but in the pictures it looks like a Dana-44. I'm rebuilding a D-44 for my 67 Scout. It has a 74 Scout disc brake D-44 with Chev knuckles. I would like to use the manual for the rebuild. So, did a 84 Chev use a corporate axle or a Dana-44? If this is not a Dana, where can I find a good exploded view of the D-44? Thanks

the stock front axle for an '84 would be the corporate 10 bolt.

Best way to tell is the 10 bolt has little ears on the bottom.
