When i get ready to mount that 350 in the CE what motor mounts will i need?
The motor mounts for the 80 to 85 motor or the 68 motormounts. Mind you i'v got the orgional towers already in the truck, hince the CE. Or will i need to have some mounts fabed up for me. thanks sswj

I bought a GM crate motor 350 in '99 for my '71 Jimmy. It dropped right in, but I did get a crate motor from the dealer for my vintage.
(My '68s got an L6, but the frame doesn't look much different otherwise.)

use the '68 mounts. they will bolt right up to engine. later ones will fit engine but not the towers. one word of caution, the '68 mounts & towers will not fit any stock manifolds other than thr ram horn style. if you are using headers disregard the last statement.

The I 6 & the sb use the same eng mounts( same pn). The stands are different, as far as placement front to rear on the eng, but the sb will mount on the i 6 stands. if you are running a stick, with the bell crossmember, i would use the i 6 stands.....to swap to the sb stands, you will also need to swap the bell crossmember. good luck, crazyL

Ask for 68 mounts at the parts store. They usually run 6 to 11 bucks each.
