Something doesn't look right with that tach video...it SPIKES to 3000, then SLOWLY pulls from there..Obviously, the converter is flashing properly to 3000, but strange that it pulls so slowly afterwards. Only thing I can imagine is those 2.73 gears. Get some 3.73's!

even 2:73's would'nt account for the slowness. I can hear from the sound that the truck accelerated more than 300-400 rpm's

can't see anything in the last two videos...

But if the old one was before the new motor and the new one is after it sounds much better!

What is your 0-60 times? My truck is slower than balls with its 350 and big tires and 3.42 gears, I think i'm going to drop it back down though with some 31s because I don't like how it rides and all that and I may sell the beetle and use my truck for a daily driver again. I think I need a new engine though, possible rod knock in mine, but that just means I can build it with some more power!

That's seriously sad man...my SATURN does the 60' in 2.50. You need to get that 60' to 2.0, THEN you'll have some good times.

is it just my imagination or is the truck cutting out in the "new" video? sounds like a combination of the rev limiter kicking in and or a serious problem with fuel starvation or something..

Yeah my truck only goes 0-60 in 14.5 seconds. Damn 305 w/ 3.08 gears. It is ok because my bro's 76 Honda does 0-60 in 25+ seconds. Ha!

Nah, the '00 Beetle will own you all!!! With its 26mpg and 8.53 second 0-60! Actually which is kinda disappointing, I tested it with my G-Tech and was disappointed, I expect it to be faster, I think I need to replace some vacuum lines, install a new N75 valve and a new diverter valve, I feel I may be losing some boost somewhere.
