Sunvisor question?

It's raining and I am frustrated because my stereo project is at a standstill. I decided to look for other things I want to upgrade on my 77 Cheyenne.

It appears that the passenger side sunvisor has been replaced but the drivers side is original. I guess the guy that did the restoration decided to keep it since it has the seat belt label on it. Anyway it looks kinda tired so I want to replace both of them.

My question is what year(s) did they put a lighted mirror in the visor? Was this available in trucks or just in Burbs? I need to know where to begin my search...

I got a question on sunvisors...Is it just mine or does the driver's side sunvisor hit the rearview mirror i have a smaller than stock mirror; replaced the 10 inch with an 8 inch by accident. Just kinda find that odd

I have a really nice set of black sunvisors out of an 85, but unfortunatly they are neither lighted or maroon.

I think the lighted ones came in the 89 and later Burbs. Don't remember 100% though.

I was pretty sure I had seen them in our body style Burbs. With the lack of replies I was starting to wonder.

If you have time could you check at work to be sure....

damn between moonlight's interior and N2TRUX's cheyenne interior pics, talk about gettin wood! The mid 70's interior is SO NICE when its clean like that.. I mean it really looks good. Of course I'm somewhat partial to those years because of trucks Ive owned over the years.. but geez the 81+ interiors just dont do a thing for me. I have a 91 suburban too with a really clean interior and its just blehhhh to me. 1977 is where its at (pre-77, too)... I never liked the look of the aluminum colored dash bezels in 78 or anything from that point on.. ok off topic, sorry, just felt like rambling

I know that they were in the 91's for sure. The red is a different color than yours, I am pretty sure. I will check to see if I can get a pair, though.

Ya know I have had a pretty crappy weekend. It seems nothing has gone my way. I haven't had a thing all weekend to smile about till now.

Thanks for taking the time to give me a good laugh.... :p
The pic is funny, but the truck isn't. It looks really nice inside....
