how did you guys fix this...
Need some ideas on how you guys repaired the top windshield frame where the top screws into. One side of mine was welded up and the other is still open.

That's a good question! On the Blazers I've had- the top has four bolts holding it on in front-and that area circled is where the weatherstripping is held on with three phillips head screws-looked like nuts tack welded to the backside of a steel plate(from what I could tell from the rusted remains! ) Don't know if a guy could just fab up a replacement piece??

It's been awhile but what Donkey69 said. I used the old rubber for a template for drillimg a new hole after I welded up a new tab for one of the rusted out ones. I might have use one of the clip on nuts like on the fenders.

What they said. Just fab up a new piece of flat metal with the holes predrilled. I used the old weatherstrip as the template for the metal. Haven't decided yet if I will mount bolts inside or use u-clips. Anyone else done it yet? Jeff.
