Why can't I upload pictures?
What's going on with the pics? I can view some, but not others, and it won't let me upload anything. Is this because of the server move? This is the message that I get when I attempt to upload pics.

It's super easy to post them from a web hoster. They are free as well.
Check out the FAQ http://207.44.196.117/vboard/showthread.php3?t=13693 I just learned how tonight.

Posting Pics
I liked it better when you could just down-load them right off your computer.
Is this still possible? Will it be again? I hope so. Not everybody has a web site to post their pics on. CK5 is the same way, a huge P.I.T.A. to post pics. |

MAn thanks VTblazer for that.... "not everbody has a web site to post their pics on" - Aint this the truth!
Alot of worthless people with there own server, will post a picture using a link the way 71swb4x4(not calling you one of these people!) did, knowing exactly how they did, and why they can't upload through the board like normally...There answer to people who dont know how to do all this when asked , "are pics still working?" is "Ya for me look....etc". IMO ,this is A LOT like sayying "i cant ride my bike because my dicks too big" - Is not being able to ride a bike the issue being conveyed here, or something else? Not too helpfull, all that's needed is a quick explenation of how this is all done 71swb4x4, THANKS FOR THE LINK TO THE THREAD ON HOW TO POST PICS. Alot of people don't know that. However - if you try that little trick with a pic in Yahoo photo, or webshots.....it WONT work, try it. Apparently villagephotos.com works for you? I'ma have to try it... |

you could always try the FAQ board for the information on how to do it, or heres a novel idea ... ask...
it sucks not to be able to do it but geez how many whiney posts are you planning on making about the same problem. Obviously it is a known issue.............. |

Sorry if mine is the winey post you're talking about, heres a novel idea - block me, don't read my posts ,etc.
I only replied, I didnt start this thread, just replied. I think I've probably been most helpful in this thread to kballon who asked the question too. 71swb4x4 i feel somewhat addressed the issue....he showed that yea, it's possible. He was also nice enough to give a link to a FAQ thread showwing how to link a photo. However I'll bet the person asking the question, doesn't know as much as 71swb4x4 when it comes to posting pics. Luckily I'm computer savvy enough (harldy!) to know all i had to do was right click on his pic, and see where in fact he's having the pic hosted from for free... My whiney post took it a step further and actually told Kballon, or anyone else wanting to know what the free servers web address is, so they can use it too. I took the information 71swb gave, and added it together for anyone not in the know, enough to do so for themselves Obviously it's NOT obvious to everyone...
