electric choke question

I took my choke off my holly over the summer to install the quick change springs. Now that it is getting cold I need to adjust it some it appears to not stay on long enuf. When I start it up it is good it just disengages to soon and runs rough for a while. Im I remembering right do I turn it to the right to make it stay choked longer?

Thanks for any help.

I would say get it warm, then adjust it so it shuts. You will probably turn it clockwise, toward the front of the truck.
