Help with a Vin
Ok, so I have looked at my VIN, and I have figured everything out, but the production number...
My VIN is CE181 F6464 91 that is exactly how it shows up on my Title for the blazer.... According to LMC....the 4th number should be a "6" which represents a blazer...mine is an 8... also, From the FAQ board, it says that there were only 1277 CS models made. I know that is for CS and mine was a CE, but there were no numbers for CE... and what is the "91" for at the end? Anyone, please help

I am pretty sure that 646491 should be the Vehicle Serial Number. Basically the number of the vehicle that came off the line.
This is where I was looking. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/Chevyear.html

VIN decode
According to my 70 owners manual, the six numbers after the letter "F" are the actual production number. BTW, your rig was assembled in Flint MI

8 means Blazer, the S is a 6 cylinder and the E means 8 cylinder.

My 70 owners manual has a VIN breakdown in it, and it does not list an"8" under body and brakes. My 70 is also listed on the VIN as a "6"
