Seperating two peice driveshaft
How does a guy go about seperating the front and rear part of a two peice driveshaft behind the steady bearing? I need to know so I can get my u-joint fixed.

Russell, there's usually a screw-on sealing cap on the end of the forward shaft. It will unscrew, just like a nut. If it's stubborn, use large slip-joint pliers....carefully. Then the rear shaft should come off.
