Parting out 69 Chevy SWB

V8, automatic with power steering and manual 4 wheel drum brakes.
The truck is in pretty rough condition with rust in the floors, rockers, firewall and door jambs of the cab. Driver side door and fender are decent but the passenger side has a large gash. The bed is fair condition with 3 or 4 small rust holes. The truck was a daily driver until 5 years ago when the engine developed a knock. It drove good and had tight steering, suspension and brakes. I cannot vouch for their current condition, however. It also had a new windshield installed about 1 year prior to being taken off the road.
It appears to have originally been a column shifted manual transmission but was changed to an automatic prior to my purchasing it.

It's pretty beat up on the inside and I think there is some rust on the bottom.

I didn't notice any problems with them while I was driving it. So I'd say they were in pretty good shape.

For legality's sake, I will not seperate the VIN from the cab. There is only a bill of sale as Alabama doesn't title vehicles that old.

How about the C shaped bracket that bolts to the tranny. Its quite small and should be cheap to ship.

Where exactly is that located? I don't remember seeing one when I pulled the trans. out but that's been a few months ago and I have "CRS".

Its part of the linkage and about 2 inches big. It bolts the the tranny and is what pivots on the bolt to put the tranny into gear. This is an auto tranny right? It is probably still bolted to the tranny as it comes out with it. Its got one hole in the middle of the C for the bolt that is slotted. I have crs too, dont worry.

It is more than likely gone with the transmission but I'll look around while I'm up there and see if it is in the truck somewhere.
