Thumbs up to Federal Mogul/Carter
As some of you might know, I got a 454 for my K20. Did the engine build up first then the slow body work began. I bought all the engine parts about 2 years ago but engine hasn't been fired up yet so all the parts are unused. Went to hook up the fuel line to the Federal Mogul/Carter mechanical fuel pump 3 Saturdays ago only to find a crack in the casting on the fuel inlet on the pump for the line from the tank. I called JEGS and they said the couldn't help me as the product was purchased about 2 years ago. They recommended I contact Federal Mogul/Carter. Took a few calls to them but finally a Regional Service Rep called me and has a replacement fuel pump on the way.
Customer service is important to me so just wanted to pass along that they stood behind a product when they probably didn't have to.

Once they realized you were building a real truck they had no choice to make it right . Glad to hear it worked out for you.

I will hopefully get out tonight and take some pics. Been so busy lately haven't been able to get time to work much. While I have been waiting to resolve the pump problem I have been out a couple times and worked on the interior. The 99 Silverado 40/20/40 seats are not fitting as good as I had hoped now that I have the pedals back in the truck. Will work, but good thing I'm not taller than 6' or I would be real scrunched. Having to address the transfer case shifter also. With the body lift it is going to hit the tranny hump when in 2 Hi. Probably just cut a larger hole. Won't be noticeable with the carpet down.

This is good to hear.
Something that many people (sales) do not realize is the amount of time that it takes to do a project. I know that I have parts that were purchased on sale and years ago. NIB is just that and it is nice to see someone step up like that.

Had a Dremel tool that I used only a few times that died. Wrote a note sent it to the company and they sent it back working
