And here a few shots after the maaco presidential paint job ha ha. I think it turned out pretty well, the pictures make it look a little nicer that it is but I think it looks great for a work truck. I just need some wheels/tires and it'll be done

If I could get my truck lookin that nice, I'd be satisfied

PS -- are those the stock 3/4 ton 4x4 springs? Thats about the perfect height for my truck with a set of 32 x 10.5s or so...

Destructo is right, it has a 3" body lift on it (I think 3"), but it will be coming out soon.

That's a cool parking brake.
It blends into the yard when not in use.
My parking brake is billet cedar, but stands out like a sore thumb.

that truck has a Body Lift on it, thats why it looks like it sits higher, I have 1 1/4 ton M1008 springs in the front of my truck and it made the front level with the rear pretty much. I'm running 33x12.5" tires on it also.

We got the presidential service w/2 hours of body work for $538 after our coupon ha ha ha. The color is candy apple red but there looks to be a lot of purple in it.

Overall I think it turned out pretty good, I'm sure the shine will only last a year or two but thats ok. We just wanted a decent looking truck to use for work, and whatever.

Yes, that looks MUCH better! I bet your neighbors are happier now too.

How close is the color to the original color?

I had a maaco paint job on a 78, it lasted and looked good for over 6 years until I sold it. Heck my wife destroyed a shopping cart with the fender and had minimal chipping. If you catch Maaco at this time of year they have 1/2 off sales. I stripped mine down and they two toned it for nothing extra also.

Paint shops are slow right now until all the snow hits and the insurance claims roll in.

where I live body shops don't have to worry about snow.. It's deer season. 8-10,000 people hit deer every year in saskatchewan.
