hehe well...maybe not...better get back to the garage and add some more square stock to the pile. |

Wow, that one has the new experimental clear driveshaft - supposed to be incredibly strong, dare I say unbreakable.

one way to fix that problem is why dont they stop selling ubolts that long. just plain ridiculous and you know anyone buying ubolts that long is up to no good.

I thought you were serious! I wanted to see the 8" of lift! With no driveshafts we don't have to worry about him putting it on the road!

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |

jim, hopefully this weekend itll be finished up...at least im hoping. i finished the front brakes last nite. you should just come up here and do it for me, seems like you and vtblazer could work circles around most of the guys on here.

brian, im still saving up...i was ready to order until christmas and a $400 insurance bill came. im prettu sure im gonna go with 38x13-16 on some stock 8 lug rims i have. do you think i should paint the rims black?

one of the maintnance guys at work rolled in with his new toy, an 84 K20 with 4" of lift and 33s on it. short truck, til i noticed the 4" lift blocks at all 4 corners. couldnt understand why they arent safe.

I have almost no chrome left on my truck, its all blacked out with Apple Red paint (code 72 I believe?) the grill is black with red paint in the middle, both front and rear bumpers are black powder coat, wheels are powder coat black with a red stripe and the only peices of chrome left are the side moulding and the drip rails.

im leaning towards black, but if i ever come across a set of hubcaps, then i'll go with those
vtblazer, im still plannin on visiting this spring/summer. my only problem migt be the fuzz. lets just hope the mass state troopers dont know the lift laws in my state... |
