Odometer question
How do I roll back my odometer. I have the gauge cluster apart and the speed/odometer in my hand. I am looking at it, and it looks like the only thing I am manually able to roll is the tenths line. Anybody have an idea?

LOL. I think it's illegal for new cars, but our old ones I don't know. Being that I hae the guage cluster apart, I want to roll it back just to see how many miles I can get out of this engine since I now own it.

NOT that i have done this but you need to split the bracket that holds the number wheels slide them apart and realighn them to the number you want zero is real easy the only trik is to make sure the numbers are in proper allighnment to eachother .

Be real careful with the speedometer needle. At least on the 73-up trucks they are designed to break off if tampered with.
