Question Another rear coil spring question.

Ok, I have ordered my new coil springs and shocks.
I was underneath my truck last night looking at my rear coils, I have no hardware, no mounts that hold the rears in? Looks like there are holes for bolts.
I called several dealerships no one has any idea what I am talking about.
Does anyone know if the rear springs are supposed to have some hardware that holds them in?

Thanks much!

Yes, there is supposed to be metal cups that hold the spring.

take a hammer and hit the springs really hard and see if they pop out.

actually that would be six, including you cdwhzk, before racedvl posted... so what are you trying to say... we all took an interest, and posted what we knew about the topic... is that a bad thing??? at least our posts pertained to the subject matter, not criticizing other members.
just my two cents
