On my old 72 suburban, under the dash pad there was a 2" x 3" peice of paper. On it it said nothing more than... 2/14/72. St. V day in 72.

You try looking for the sticker on the drivers side door? Won't give the date, but it'll give the month and year.
The Longhorn was built in June if I remember correctly. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. FINALLY got the HORNIAC...a '70 one ton Longhorn with a Pontiac 350/350 and lots of 'personality'. Check out The Longhorn Webite. The guy who painted my truck took the door sticker off and threw it away. I was bummed. Manufacture date was late, April 1971.
