NP203 fulltime 4wd with PITA leverage shifter. I'd say $50 whole. $75 if you take off just the range box and sell it for a doubler set up. Alot of times people will give a NP203 away, I've 4 sitting in storage that I can't get rid of.

1) Too Heavy (Heavier than a 205)
2) Chain driven
3) Full time 4x4…unless equipped with a part time 4x4 kit from Mile Marker
4) Not famous for strength

A NP205 is cast iron case however its lighter, has two shift rails, and the shifter (one long rod) bolts and pivots on the case. Also its got 4low, N, 2 high, 4 high, where as the np203 has a hi loc, hi, n, low, low loc.

Some NP205's have an aluminum tail cone, but they also have a slip yoke
