Do you drive your truck year round? If not I'd add a 1/2 can or so to a full tank of gas when you park it & dump the rest in when you start driving it again. Ive used it straight in the carb to carbon clean piston tops before. I always have a can of it in the garage for the times I drag home a vehicle thats been sitting around...corn

I thought sea foam is used to eliminate pinging in your motor. The motor on my Dodge van pinged, and I used Sea Foam it quit ping for a couple of weeks, then it started pinging again. Ahem! so much for the "Foam".

Ive used it about a week ago. It is supposed to do just about anything. which i doubt.
I used it where you let a vacuum line suck it in, shut off the motor and let it sit, then restart it in about 10 minutes. It is supposed to soak into the carbon build up, and then burn it out when you restart and warm it up. It did smoke pretty good for about five minutes of driving. I didnt notice an increase in throttle response or gas mileage as i should have. But you are supposed to be able to add it to your gas, oil, trans fluid, just about anything. |
