will '73+ C10 Control arms bolt onto my '69 front crossmember? - do i have to modify anything for the lowers? - where they bolt on with the "u-bolts" - do the uppers bolt right on?

I have '78 upper and lower a-arms on my '68. The a-arms themselves bolt right on with no modifications. However, if you want to keep using your '69 spindles and steering components though, you'll have to swap out ball joints.

plus if you use 73 up control arms I think you need to use the matching tie rod ends and center link. But the control arms are a easy swap.

I don't plan on using the '69 components.
I have dropped spindles for '73+ and new ball joints for '73+ and all new steering components(inner and outer tierods/idler/pitman, drag link) for '73+ and a P.S. box '73+

The whole reasoning behind the swap is that - i need to keep my frame a "roller" as it gets put outside monday morning and comes back in on friday afternoon - due to shop space. I was going to put all that stuff on the '69 arms...but since i only use the shop on weekends it is hard for me to "dissasemble/clean/paint get the ball joints pressed in, etc.) this way i can just clean them and paint them in my basement during the week and get a front end shop to press in the ball joints so they are ready to go for a weekend project.

I want to rebuild the '73+ arms with the new balljoints/paint them...then in one day...replace the '69 arms with the '73+ arms and spindles...so that it can remain a "roller"

not to mention...there is alot more '73+ arms available than there is '67-72
