clutch adjustment?
lets see if i can put this right. when i push my foot to the floor on the clutch pedal, it feels like there needs to be a little more pedal travel to fully disengage the clutch so i can shift. i kinda need to jam it into gear to avoid grinding the gears even with my foot all the way to the floor. is there any adjustment in the linkage? this is on my "new" 76 C30 dually with a 4 speed/granny low trans.
if i were to guess, i'd think it would need the clutch replaced. however i'm trying to put that off and use the truck till summer when the weather is nice, and i will be swapping the cab for a rust free one, so that would make it a much easier job to do a clutch on.

How much free play do you have?
When the pedal is all the way out, how much does the pedal move towards the floor before you begin to feel resistance? Have you looked under the truck to make sure all the parts are there, no nuts or springs missing. Is the fork returning correctly?
