The 3" spindles went very smooth, but the rear was the biggest pain. As most know, those shackle bolts will not come out without damage. Well, I couldn't get them out with an air chisel, so I had to do the flip kit a little different. I removed the axles and backing plates(so the axle could slip in between the frame and springs), and kind of worked the axle up above the leaf springs like that. It worked out pretty good. I couldnt attach the before pic because the file was too big, but it is on my homepage.

Get some PB Blaster...it loosens anything rusted and seized.

I shoot it on the night before I plan on wrenching and hit it some more the day of. Works great.

If you ever get a chance to get some Koil, it makes wd40 look like water. As with anything like that you cant just spray it and 30 seconds later remove it. I will spray them down for about 4-5 days with driving around some to help loosen it up by the movement of the leafs. Then if it doesnt come off time for the chizel or torch.

Drop looks pretty good.

Years ago when I was tearing down my 36 Ford I used Kroil on bolts that had never been apart since the car was originally assembled. The Kroil worked wonders. no broken or stripped bolts. I swear by the stuff.

I definately want to get rid of that bumper and the hitch. Probably end up getting a roll pan. I am sort of looking for a good rebuildable 350 if a deal comes by while i still have money.
But at the moment I am probably gonna level it out with another inch off the front.

Good deal! That's exactly what I did...take it from me, since you done the spindle, don't bother with a spring, just get bags in the front, that way, you can go as low as you want, or as high as you need. Bags are like $200, Springs are $100..trust me, bag the front.

Bags sound good, I might look in to it in the near future.

This old guy at work was telling me how they used to stop at the gas station and fill their air shocks to lift the cars.

Good job on the drop. Another inch in the front would probably help. I can't tell by your picture, but do you have any problems with tire rub (on the fender lip)? 'Looks' like another inch drop in front may cause some rubbing. Regardless, looking good.

There is no rubbing with the fender lip, however, if I go lower I am thinking the wheels may not tuck inside the fenders (in Front). I may be wrong though, but I will find out soon.

What size tires and rims you have?

Thanks everyone. The picture looks bad because all I had was my phone.

The Tires are 275/60/15 all around. I was a little nervous about clearance, even though I did measure. But the wheels clear lock to lock. I even tried a few sharp turns to make sure they didnt rub through the suspension travel with them turned. For a better picture click my name and check the homepage.
