best exhaust running?

i'm thinking about redoing my exhaust. i wanna keep my magnaflows, but i wanna run it different.

right now i've got 2.5" piping w/2.25" hpipe into my dual magnaflows and 2.25" outlets exiting right behind the axle.

i was thinking of having it go from headers to mufflers 3" w/Xpipe and out of hte mufflers 2.5"

if not that i would want the same setup, but with 2.5" through the whole thing. what would be the best area to mount an xpipe?

The only place you can really fit one is right behind the Tranny X member and even then its gonna be a PITA, I say just get a 2.5" H pipe, the gains you are gonna see with an X wont be seen until quite high RPMs
