Good luck. I tried to sell the set off my '87 donor truck for the same price and never got any responses.

And yes, they fit 73-87 trucks

I've had inquiries on them when I didnt want to part the truck out, so I know people are looking for them. Its just a matter of if they see the post that they are for sale or not. I should have kept a list of parts people were looking for when I said I wouldnt part the truck out.
Oh well.

Too far for the tanks but what about the junction block and the wiring, I have a 74 with the passenger side take, have the drivers side in the garage, but need the stuff to hook up dual tanks. Would you be willing to sperate the hardware from the tanks???
Thanks,
Ben

These may be 20 for all I know. I am not sure? Can you measure one of your tanks and I'll measure mine? (Length, width, heigth)
The sender or the fuel block is on the passenger side above the tank. I have all of that, the metal lines and everything. Did you get the pics I sent you?

Man can you be any farther from me ?

I can check shipping, but that is gonna require me to clean them out real good first and make sure there is NO scent of gas.

Moratic acid works great, 50/50 with water. leaves the inside looking like new!

Let me know. Shoot me a pm if you are interested. Shipping is gonna be at least $50

I still havent got a chance to measure mine. The ones you have seen...were they all in long beds or shortbeds?

These are from a shortbed.
I dont think they are 53" long, but I could be wrong...

Thanks, so how do you pull them off, unbolt them from the frame? From the inside of the frame? Those don't look bad, but I might be better off buying new considering the shipping. It's hard to tell how good they really are, because sometimes things rot from the inside out. Thank you.

Yeah they just onbolt from the frame, pretty straight forward....unless rust is an issue.

Yeah, shipping might be $$... I was gonna clean the tanks before shipping anyways. Moratic Acid cleans them like brand new

Mine are still for sale $100 for the entrie shooting match including the hookups, switch, etc. Only drawback is I cannot ship them....I'm in Dallas, TX btw...

Mine are both 20 gallon tanks.
