What should I be looking for?
I will be changing to bucket seats on my 78 SWB Chevy. I am looking for the female ends to the seat belt system. What would be more appropriate, the ends from a K5 Blazer or a Suburban? Which would fit in the bench seat belt mounting position?

I put 70' OE bucket seats and console in my 70' Suburban and used the same ones I had used for the bench seat. The ones now in your truck would not work? I know this is really no help but the same female ends worked for me. I changed nothing as far as the belts went and all work fine.

I installed some Ford Taurus SHO seats and the outer seat mounts fit and had to fab some spacers and drill holes to make them fit.

Brandon, I got those Taurus bucket seats too, in leather, but from a earlier model SHO. Would have loved to have used the female seat belts affixed to them, but the GM male in won't fit. I also have a late model GM console too. Kind of looking for the straight short female ends that stick up beside the console.

I would love a newer console but I'm going to use a old blazer one. I'm hoping that it will work okay in there. On the seat belts what about using instead of the GM one use a Ford one made for it and anchor it in the GM mount? Or you could always use a 5 point harness
