AC Delco Oil Filter
Anyone know the difference between an ACDelco PF1218 and an ACDelco PF35?
I was trying to replace the oil filter on my 68, 307, 2bbl this afternoon. I went to buy a filter, and looked up the number for the ACDelco PF1218. Once I got the old one removed, it is an ACD PF35. Online, I saw usage charts that showed both filters. They look identical. OK to use the PF1218?

Dude!
Thanks. You Rock. I was hoping this was the case, but I could not find that info. Now I am wondering when they changed the part. Might be a clue to how long since the last oil change...

If I remeber right, 1218's started in the early-mid 90's. We are still selling 35's up here in Canada.

Thanks. That makes me feel a little better. I think that the truck was last driven some about 10 years ago so I bet the filter has been on at least that long
