Inside mirror wrong for 72 (like Screamin said), non AC cab, obvious fake option plate on the glovebox.

Is that right side rocker bulging out or is that an "optical conclusion"?

Pictures make it look nice but I agree with Screamin. It's not a 72. Cab and doors are not 72 vintage.
Check out the glove box shot. Lets' see. Wrong font, Everyone I've ever seen is in all caps, Turbo-Hydro-Automatic, 350 CID V8, is that really tackometer on there(?) . OK nit pickers I left some for you. There are more.

Have to see it for real. That is why I would not buy a truck (paying top dollar) off of e-Bay. I just have to see and drive before I would buy. Truck looks good in all the pictures. But most due in pictures.

Check out the positioning of the "SUPER" emblem on the driver side fender. It is too far back. It should be even with the left side of the Cheyenne10 emblem. I suppose the fender could have been replaced.

Paint is not original, why would someone paint a 50,000 mile truck? And that is the fakest option sheet I have ever seen.

Those are the 72 door panels but the doors don't have the 72 holes by the vent window. Someone really fudged this truck. The title does work out to a 1972. The interior color scheme is way messed up too.

With a tilt, wouldn't the wheel be black also? (don't honestly know the answer to that one) Antenna isn't a factory/original either. Nice enough truck but alot of good points have been made, especially the 'dishonest' seller thing... Last edited by vtblazer; 05-26-2005 at 06:57 AM. |

Ain`t this fun?I`m not eligible to play since I`m the producer. You`er doing well.Dual exhaust only available w/big block. This truck is sweet.I`d own it.But,not from a dishonest seller on e-bay.C`mon,there`s more. Disclaimer:We do not promote nit-picking.This is an isolated case for educational purposes only.Any other use is not sponsored by this promoter.

$8600 as of this post with 6 days to go and all these obvious (to you folks) flaws, changes, or fabrications!
I thought we just had a thread saying these trucks don't sell well now? IIRC, Akracing said a restored truck won't bring $9600. Not far to go with many auction days left.

I love this board,, as you guys are very knowledgable about your trucks! now I think it is very sharp looking and would love to own it, but not with the way he is selling it,, it is not orginal...so tell the truth on what was done with it.. seems like you see a lot of this on ebay now.. since you can really see it up close,, I think I would hire someone to look it all over before I every bought one on ebay.. would be worth the $$ , hmmmm, now that sounds like a nice company to start... ebay appraisors???
