BellTech rear sway bar
I ordered this from Summit a few weeks ago. It just arrived yesterday. Looks like a nice piece. Can't wait to get it installed. Hopefully it will complement the 1-1/4" front factory bar that I scrounged off of a C20.
It is part number 5508 and fits 73-87 full size trucks . It's 1-1/8" thick and came with polyurethane bushings. Also came with both 3-1/4" and 3-1/2" U-clamps so it should fit all rear axles.

Looks good, took a few weeks to get from Summit? Was it back ordered?

Yes, it was on backorder. It drop-shipped from the factory.

Looks nice! Are the endlinks different then the other bars for lowered trucks? And where do they mount? Is there already a predrilled hole in the frame?

For What Its Worth- I bought a Heliwig (sp?) rear bar for a 1/2 ton 91 Suburban..........it was low tech.......it was also one of these one size fits many applications..........it did fit, but mounting brackets were hokey..........the bar you have pictured is very much nicer in appearance and hardware.............
Also I think, from bars I've seen, that Addco may be on par with BellTech. I'd consider using rubber over poly.........everyone sells poly bushings saying they are stiffer, which they are, but the real reason they sell 'em is because they are cheaper.........they also often sweak, and transmit too much harshness from the road.......there is a reason auto manufacturers almost never use poly bushings or chassis or shock mounts. |

Energy Suspension sells their poly bushings with lube fittings. I found a pair at Autozone.

Re: BellTech rear sway bar
Did you have a chance to install the bar yet? I'm interested in how the install went.
