Will power brake booster from 73-87 work in these trucks?
Hey guys
Well mine is shot and i have all of the 67-72 brackets and rods i just need the power brake canister replaced will a 73-87 unit work in our truck if i went ahead and used all of the correct brackets etc. thanks John |

I don't see why not. I know a guy that used one off of a older berreta because the booster is smaller so I would say yes.

It may not be a slam dunk direct shot, but I'm sure with some mods/fabbing, you could do it.
This may alter the feel of the pedal too. Why not go to the parts store and get a new one? |

The brackets and booster are one piece. Yes, it will work with minor modification. You'll have to drill a couple holes and for the rod I ended up using a coupler nut to connect the rod. With a little imagination it will work.

not a direct fit/swap, have to mod to make work as previously said, good luck,,,,
