quick question about my 86 K10

I'm new to the boards, so I'm sorry if this question has been asked already. I was just wondering if my truck's turning signals are JUST the marker lights on the side, or were there supposed to be turning signals in the front in the grille? My friend said he looked in his repair manual, and they didn t say anything about there being signals on the front...so I have no idea.

You should have two in the grill. Turn signals only on the side would be of little help to someone approaching you from the front

yeah, thats what I figured...its just so weird though, because theres no wires that suggest i ever had any, and theres no holes in the front where it looks like turning signals should go...i suppose ill just wire some in the front anyways...

If your truck has a 2 headlight system these are the parking lights and turn signalsin pis 1. If you have a 4 headlight system these are the parking lights and turn signals in pis 2...

The signals on the four light setup are actually mounted behind the grill, so there wouldn't be any holes in the grill. I think LMC Truck sells the entire setup, or you could probably find a good working set at the local salvage yard. I've found that the '86 models haven't been picked over as much as some of the earlier models.
