Anyone see the newest (I think) Pimp My Ride?

Just wondering if anyone saw the PMR where they did up a 80's 2wd long bed? Although not my style, they actually did a pretty neat (and not too trashy) job on the truck.

I would like to find a decent photo of the truck, but the few images MTV has on their site aren't very good. Anyone have a couple or know where to look?

man, the only cool thing they did was put the dump bed on it. putting 32 thousand dollars worth of electronics in the bed didn't do that girl one bit of good considering she was a farmer.......

I saw that show last weekend. The truck looked pretty good, but they always over pimp it. All that money and time spent on the looks, sound and this time brakes; and they don't even touch the engine? The show about the 55 chevy Bel Air was the best, now that car had everything done to it, and it looked David

Right. That thing actually looked pretty sweet. As DBLSPRT68 said, they are always over pimped though. But, if she sells off all of those electronics in the bed, she can upgrade under the hood! At least that is what I would do.

I've got it on DVR.

I recorded that episode on my DVR, but I wouldn't know how to get it on my computer to send it out.
If you guys want it, I'll need a thorough education.
My '85 is similar to that one before it was pimped, but not near as rough. I really loved the interior work they did on it. I'd love to have those seats and console.

I want to be the first to say it: That show sucks. I hear they do better work on actual customers' cars. I hope so.

I'd rather have Chip Foose's lawnmower than anything they build on PMR.

Yes, I would much rather be "overhauled" than "pimped", but I watch for the entertainment value. That stinky 'xzibit' cracks me up. and 'ish' too.

Definatly.. I love overhauled.. They actually restore the vehicle. Body and Drivetrain.. No overboard 30" TVs and Playstations.. Just pure awsome automotive design.

I would LOVE to see a 1973-87 Chevy pickup get overhauled.. especially mine!

Ha ha ha, that is too funny. You would not belive how many times that goes thru my head every time I watch an episode.
Now PMR, ha. My brother got sent a link on how to apply. He showed it to me and told me to submit mine. I just laughed and walked away.

i hate that show pimp my roach.thats what all the guys in my family call it.we all hate how they only do cosmetic mods.they have there place and purpose ill agree but they overdo it.i wouldnt let them near my truck or anything that i own.they always seems to use the biggest junk heaps at least from the few times ive seen it and there work makes me scratch my head.no wonder they get cars out of the ghettos of los angeles or where ever in LA they get these cars.they seem to like them at least the ones who didnt sell them right off the bat or try to from what i just read.

The guys at west coast customs have the ability to do it all, but do to time constraints they mainly just show the cosmetic side of the show. I would agree too that most of the time they overdue it, but thats advertising. If you haven't noticed alot of the things they do are fabricated in house, and you gotta respect that. It doesn't mean as much to just upgrade a showroom new vehicle as it does one that has been to hell and back. To me thats when you let it all hang out and show what your made of.

'68 Chevelle

Did you guys see last nights episode. I kinda like the results of that Chevelle. They swapped motor and tranny. Cool paint and wheels. Of course they still did stupid over board stuff like tv's in the rear arm rests. But, much better than wome of the past cars.
