Got my new motor back

Just thought Id share this photo of my new motor. Its a not to standard 454 built for a procharger F1R supercharger. As soon as the body and chassis get home (soon... its been a year...) engine and tranny go in!

It's called golf because all the other four letter words were taken.

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

Should be sweet. What power level do you expect out of it?

We are going to tsart with a ten pound pulley. I have an intercooler between the frame rails, this combined with an 8to1 compression ratio should give a conservative 800hp. The engine could do 20lbs. of boost, but even with the cage thats tiged to the frame, my body man is afraid we will split the paint on the quarter panels and destroy the panel fit (which they have worked hard to acheive). So I think we'll go conservative to start out.

72 2WD Jimmy. Tremec TKO 600; McCleod street twin clutch, Currie Extreme duty 9 1/2" w 3.50gears, Strange internals, Wilwood disks on all corners... but the truck will look 100% stock on the outside except for the wheels, lowered stance; Plus some flush hood vents, and the aftercooler scoop in the front bumper.
