Hi all....in the mornings mostly...on my way to work, while accelerating, my internal right turn signal indicator will flicker or come on and stay on for a few seconds...when I slow down....it goes away....I havent torn into the dash yet.....but have any of you had this problem before? I have no idea if the outside lights are coming on too....(kinda hard to do at 50...lol) Thanks....

If your lights are on when it does this your parking light bucket (right side) is problably loose and losing ground or the ground wire (black) from the side marker light is loose.

Funny, my 72 Blazer does the exact same thing. Same side as well. I changed the burnt out marker light bulb thinking that was it but it still does it. I will have to check the light housings as well.

Definately has something to do with the ground. I always analyze this stuff in a similar fashion to car audio. When things aren't grounded properly with a car stereo system a whine will follow the RPM's of the alternator. As you slow down and speed up the whine will adjust accordingly. Your light is similar to a speaker but instead of a whine through a speaker you have a brighter light as your alternator increases it's RPM's.

Try doing it at idle but reving the engine. I bet at 3500rpm in park you will have the same effect as if you were doing 65mph.

I could be completely full of hot air though!

My 72 Blazer does the exact same thing also. Still haven't figured out why.

Its a bad ground that is back feeding through the signal indicator. Mine did that to the point that I had to run a new and seperate ground for the housing

My right front bucket is about to fall out.....good lord....how simple is that...I'll check it tonight guys and gals....thanks a bunch....I'll report back

I went to the bumper...tightened the two screws that hold the bucket in........(they were almost out) and drove to work......Problem Fixed!!!!!!!!!
