Gonna Start A New Project And Need Advice
Since My 72 Chevy will be in the bodyshop for a while, I am going to start looking for a truck for my old lady, She wants a 52 chevy or gmc what kind of problem areas should i look for in the body? What are the usual things to look out for when purchasing one of these trucks? And one more, what is the best front crossmember to transplant without spending lots of money?

Usually the lowest parts of the body will hold water and rust. In your part of the country I think it would be hard to find something that old without any rust, so the least the best, same with the frame. For suspension parts I like No Limit Engeering for crossmembers and four bars. There are many to chose from so shop around some are better than others!!
