Nice well-optioned 3/4t.That no-spin sticker is cool.Are you sure it`s a TH400,electric kick-down?I thought M49 was the TH350.

plans for it? Well for now just a tune up with an HEI, Fix the brakes, maybe change out the rotted wood floor for a metal one. Change that 4.57 co-op rear for a 3.54 dana posi. I should have all that fixed by this time next year, If I hurry.

Thanks Longhorn Man,I did not know that.I`ve had someone tell me a TH400 wasn`t original in a truck I had because the g-box said M49 and all others I`ve had were TH350s.

I've never seen that sticker on a 2wd before, most of the time the 4x4 trucks had one and it was on the glovebox door.

Great looking '68! Do you have a better picture of those hub caps? M49 option is the TH400, like Longhorn Man says. At least that is what my '68's have. I have the dealer installed Detroit locker in the Eaton 4.57 and like it for now...it works. My sticker is on the door and the all the owner maintenance info plus warranty card was in the glove box. I wonder if I should mail in the warranty card? Wish my digital took better pics...time for an upgrade I guess.
Let's see a better picture of those hubcaps! It looks someone changed the wheels and caps from the original P03 option on the glove box door.

Those hubcaps are from late 70's to mid 80's 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I have four of 'em for my truck. That truck probably had the 16x6 split rims with hubcap clips, that might be why the originals are gone.

Robert, That is what it looks like to me too...just hoping maybe he got the original hubcaps with the truck. I could use some for my second '68 Longhorn...LOL!
