Thanks 68 Suburban. Hopefully I will be able to take the camper shell off next year. Hoping to build a garage. that fiberglass shell weighs a ton.

Thanks Tyler_69C10. I don't have any engine or interior pictures right now. I took this picture last year with my minolta. I need to get modern and get one of those digital cameras. I have a grand daughter now and could use one LOL. I just put a Road demon carb on a couple weeks ago.

Hows everything doing in Canada?

Thanks everyone The trin on the wheel wells can be purchased at most auto paint stores. I got mine from a PPG paint store. It is an adhesive trim kind of like they use on the new cars. You just buy the length you want and trim to fit. Mine are getting worn out.

Good looking truck! Where is Cedar Hill? I'm originally from Fordland, about 30 miles east of Springfield. My folks still live there. Jeff.

Hi red71cheyenne Thanks. Your truck looks great too. I like the color alot Cedar Hill is about 30 miles west of St. Louis. I used to get down to Springfield for fishing and my visits to Bass Pro shop. Springfield is really growing alot now.

VERY NICE TRUCK-- YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO LUV IT & BE PROUD OF IT. BLACK IS MY FAVORITE COLOR ON THESE OLD TRUCKS, & I HAD MY BLAZER BLACK FOR 7 YEARS, BUT IT"S JUST TOO DARN HOT OUT HERE IN THE DESERT TO EVEN TOUCH, SO I PAINTED IT WHITE & YELLOW A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO.
(NOW I'M THINKEN OF PAINTING MY LATEST PROJECT TRUCK BLACK & WHITE TWO TONE. NAW -- BETTER NOT)

Hi junkyardjohn, I know what you mean about the heat LOL I try to keep it parked in the shade all the time I swear you could fry a steak on it in the sun. I like the black on these trucks also, but to be honest black is the most miserable color to keep clean I have ever had LOL. I live in the country and the dust drives me crazy.

Hi 19mike69. I got the grill from LMC. I know what you mean about taking time. Seems like all I do is work on the truck. I am retired now so it is alot easier for me. Last winter I put all new poly body mounts, poly trailing arm bushings, poly tracking arm bushings. New upper and lower A arm bushings, new ball joints, new sway bar and poly bushings, new power steering pump, new steering box. Early this spring I put in the vortex 383. I put a new Demon carb on the 383 instead of the Holley and that took a long time to get set up. I hope I have a new garage next year so I can replace the doors and the tailgate. Truck is really do for paint. I have done most the work that takes time at my sons house.

Hi longhornmail.. Its do for rockers and the tail gate and doors. I will probably do the tail gate this summer and ( crosses fingers) hopefully have that garage next year for the bad work.
