Best 67/68 Cowl hood?
Who makes the best fitting & best quality 67/68 cowl hood? I don't want to spend $400 to have it bend across the middle. Thanks, Greg

I would be more worried about the fit than them bending. The only reason it would bend is because you hinges are sized. The cowl hoods dont fit anywhere near as nice a stock 67-68. I brought one home for my 67 it was back in the box about 1 hour later. Buy local that way if you dont like it you can bring it back.

The Goodmark is the best I've seen so far. They all have their problems. Best idea that I have is to go local like mentioned above and make sure the measument across the front from fender to fender is right. Some of the new ones can be just a bit short. I had to go through three to get mine and it still took some adjustment to get the curve right at the front.

Not sure I have anybody local that carries that kind of stuff. Sounds like alot of hassle for something they should be able to mass produce correctly.

Any Body shop can get you the hoods thru there body pannel supplier. Tri Plus and Goodmark hoods are supposto be made by the same company.
