Should I put a 327 back in my 68 Burb?

Hey Everyone,
Sorry I have not been around for a while I am very busy getting short-track skaters ready for the Olympics.
My 350 motor blew in my 68 burb. It originally came with a 327. I have not heard too may good storys about 327s but think that for restoration purposed I may go with a 327 from Hiperformer. They have a 350 with a 4 bolt main for not much more $$. I need some advise on the Pros and Cons of putting a 327 back in my 68 Suburban to Help me decide~! Let me know what you all think~!

350's have more low end torque, a 327 makes its power thru rpm's. if you are going to be towing, i'd use a 350, if you want some nostalgia, go 327 they are a great little motor and you can really turn them
good luck, ron

I feel underpowered with a 396 so I say go as big as you can afford. If your sticking with SB then get a 383 or 400.

It depends on what you want more; nostalgia or power.

As stated above Cubic inches=cubic horsepower.
The 327 will move the burb but it will be less powerful than a 350.The 327 was a great motor for the 60's but most vehicles are driven quicker than they were then.If you will be driving it a lot I would suggest you go with the 350.If you want a stock look for a weekend warrior the 327 should be fine.
