introducing myself
Hi, my name is Adam im from ks. im currently swaping my '51 5window from a 6 banger to a mild 350 with a th350 trans. I am also the guy that built kingsolver72's 69 shortbed, actually pulled it out of a pasture up the road. I think it turned out ok so with any luck my 51 will turn out ok to.I actually drove this one home when i bought it

Hey Adam,glad to see you on the board .I probably should have told you to post over on the "Welcome Forum",more people would have seen your post.My bad.Maybe a mod will move it for you,if you want.....Adam is a great guy and very knowledgable about 67-72 chevy trucks.I think he will be a valuable resource and a great addition to this board.

Nice truck Adam. That old Butler Co. license plate is neat and in darn good shape. I can't read the year but I'm sure it's 1951. I helped my brother in law shoehorn a 327 into a 52 when I was in high school...once was enough for me.

well just thought id let u guys no how its coming along i got the motor and trans in and bolted up i built a trans humpfor clearence reasons, gas pedal will be finished tonight im gonna build my own shifter since im layed off and cant afford to buy the one i want, trans cooler is in, driveshaft is up at inland truck gettin shortened balanced and new u joints
hopefully i can get it wired up and running this weekend. i cant wait to drive it! |
