I have finally put on the rear discs but now I need to connect the brake lines.
Maybe a dumb question but how can I do this?

Perhaps if any who has done this conversion already can tell me how they did it.
Did you used a brake hose with banjo bolt? If so, how did you connect the brake ose to the brake line?
Pictures would say more than a thousand words in this case..

i've seen somebody use brake hoses for the front of a truck. it doesn't matter if they're hard or flexible, but you will be taking off the caliper eventually for pad replacement so i'd buy flex lines. build a bracket onto the axle tube or make a structure to hold what you currently have in the pic and connect a flex line. female to banjo it looks like you'll need

Front hose will not work. Front hose has flare, rear uses banjo.
Been trying to find a banjo to female connector all day, but I have not found one. Do they exist?

Use a front brake hose on each side of the axle, 81 Monte Carlo works well, as it's short. Banjo fitting goes on the caliper, other end of brake hose is female.

I mounted a front bracket onto the back end of the spring perch. Sadly, no pictures as the truck's gone.

On mine I used the same soft rubber lines and banjo bolt that the front of my truck uses.

From the T fitting on the axle (that the soft rubber line from the frame connects to) I then used short pieces of pre-made brake line with the proper male fittings on each end.

I know you don't have a NAPA store around the corner in your country so perhaps some metal brake tubing and assortment of ends (got mine from SUMMIT) and a good flaring tool would be in order for you ?

Raybestos Part #h5373 7/16 x 20 thread 1 1/16 long for a banjo bolt.

Use '76 dodge 1/2 4wd front brake hoses.

You are going to want to use new brake steel brake lines from the juction block above your axle/ attached to a bracket bolted to the cover.

Just measure from there to your calipers and subtract the length of hose.

Give me shout if you have issues...

I've seen 4x4 front flex lines used on a board member blazer. There may be pics on here somewhere. I believe it was a blue 72 blazer with the light grey powder coated frame. It had the hard line mounted up at the cross sills instead of the diff. housing. Good luck

I have now two specially made short hoses with 7/16" banjo and female connector for the excisting brake line.
This should work. Will keep you updated on the progress.

Connected all the brake lines tonight with the help of Jan Suburban.
Will post pictures tomorrow. I am now officially a member of the 4 disc-brakes club.

Congrats on the brakes, can you let me know how they work? Are you using an adjustable prop valve? I talked to the tech guy at ECC today and he said that they lock up really easy.....this true or is he just saying that because they don't sell em?

They are the backing plates from the front. This is a 3/4 ton.

Rear doesn't lock-up, so I guess I don't have to use a different prop. valve.
